A hair custard is an all in onerich styling product meant to nourish and hydrate the hair while giving the hair hold and curl definition, remove frizz, and provide brilliant shine.
Apply on freshly washed hair. After using the leave-in conditioner, divide hair into sections and smooth on a small amount of the custard with praying hands or raking through. Scrunch sections upwards until you hear a squelchy sound. Air dry or diffuse. To refresh: Mornings where you don’t wash your hair, spray some water on your hair, take a small amount of the custard and smooth it on the frizzy sections.
Made with 100% natural ingredients, with no parabens, sulfates, silicones or synthetic fragrances, this lightweight curl-defining custard is a unique formula that's full of mega-moisture humectants to leave hair enriched and healthy. This custard is perfect for whether you want tight, more defined curls or elongated curls to give you a one-of-a-kind style. It provides moisture and curl definition, hold and brilliant shiny hair all in one product!
You can use curling custard on freshly-washed or dry hair for frizz control. If using on dry hair slightly wet or mist hair with a spray bottle or hands before smoothing over hair. It doesn’t cause buildup so you can use it to your hearts content every day!
Yes, all Rizvan products are safe to use on colour-treated hair and have been specifically formulated with enhanced shine in mind.
As the curling custard is a light hold, less cast-forming definer, it is ideal for wavies and those with thin density hair to use alone. Those with curly or kinky hair should follow up with a stronger hold gel to preserve and protect the curl for longer retention and less frizz.
Even though it is fully preserved, it is an all-natural product, so we recommend you refrigerate it after opening to preserve its shelf life for longer as cool, dry, dark locations are often difficult to come by.
For some it will give a slightly crunchy cast when it dries. That’s normal – just SOTC (Scrunch out the crunch) with a few drops of oil in your palms or use a silk scarf. For others, they need another gel to layer on top to get a good cast.
